JamieP Posted May 17, 2006 Author Share Posted May 17, 2006 thanks very much for your kind words guys, it has helped i feel much much better today, the past 3 weeks has been hell, im just glad he is not suffering anymore. its gonna be hard for me to get over this, i was very close to my dad, we spoke most days, and i always knew that if i needed anything he would sort it i feel a bit lost not having a dad anymore to rely on Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Guest Garfy Posted May 18, 2006 Share Posted May 18, 2006 he has a brother but he live in aussie That's a shame, I finding spending time with my dad's brother's really helpfull, they have so many manerism's and body language that remind me of him, things I would normally forget. One of his brothers lives around 300 miles away from me, but last christmas I went to see him, (which was over 3 years after dad died and since I had last spoken to him to tell him his brother had died) and it was excellent, the best thing I could have done.
