Slighty confused...De-limiter and ODO question

Ok guys i have looked at previous posts but am still confused on this matter.

I got a J-Spec which i want to de-limit, i will be going for the Thor Unit

However If i also wanted to convert the odo so it now shows miles instead of km, what would happen to the existing reading. At the moment its 130,000km so if it starts reading in miles then would the odo reading go down to 81250 miles??

Any one can clarify me on this situation

Thanks

No, it will read 130,000 miles.

As far as I know:

a SLD unit will convert your kph to mph and at the same time delimit the car. The od meter will start to count in mph but the previous miles will have still been recorded in kph.

So you need to make note on the number and save it when calculating the correct miles for insurance, mot and when you come to sell the car

best give Pete a call at Thor to be sure
