E-Manage (blue) vs E-Manage Ultimate

I didn't think an E-Manage was necessary for a J-Spec. If upgrading to 550's for BPU .. isn't a SAFC-2 & a WB02 AFR gauge sufficient ?

Yes..but an eManage is much much better and not much more expensive...I'd far rather have that. And the EMB/EMU can be linked to the WB02 for logging purposes which is quite neat ;)

The Blue will do for BPU....hell it runs plenty of Singles with bigger injectors than that! the EMB and EMU have a theoretical maximum limit of 880cc injectors without lowering fuel pressure. But you don't really want to go past 800cc.

how much will this increase a bpu car to ?

The only improvement you will get from fitting an emanage to a BPU car is the built in fuel cut defence (clamping the map sensor voltage) you can if you have a wideband fitted, tweak the fuelling in RPM/load sites that are a little weak, you can also lean it out! but you have to know what your doing;)

you can also tweak the timing in the off boost load sites, but again this shouldn't be fooling with if your not totally sure of what your doing! i repeat! you risk buggering your engine:(
