SUPRASUZUKI
Hi folks. I'm new here, so be gentle!! I've just got myself a '95 twin turbo to complement my Gixer 1000 (and Diesel pug for the winter...). I've done track days on the bike and have half a dozen more booked up for this summer. The question is really for those on here who've done track days with bikes and cars. Are car track days as good / worth the money? Track time looks good if it's 'open pit lane'? Thoughts please. Rob.
Ark
I wouldn't know if it's as good, because I don't have a bike, but it's well worth it, if only to understand your car a bit better. I agree, open pits are better than sessions, but you take what you can get.
black cat
ive been on a couple of track days in the sup and i much prefered the open pitlane. i felt it was better for the car. a 15 min stretch thrashing a 10 year old car feels a bit un nerving. also the pit lane makes you feel important:d and a pit garage........ almost wet myself..
