hogmaw
No Defoe either. Maybe him & King are ill with food poisoning or something
monkey76364
Provisional squad: Robinson (Tottenham), James (Manchester City), Green (Norwich); G Neville (Manchester United), Ferdinand (Manchester United), Terry (Chelsea), Cole (Arsenal), Campbell (Arsenal), Carragher (Liverpool), Bridge (Chelsea), Beckham (Real Madrid), Carrick (Tottenham), Lampard (Chelsea), Gerrard (Liverpool), Hargreaves (Bayern Munich), Jenas (Tottenham), Downing (Middlesbrough), J Cole (Chelsea), Lennon (Tottenham), Rooney (Manchester United), Owen (Newcastle), Crouch (Liverpool), Walcott (Arsenal). Standby: Carson (Liverpool), Young (Charlton), Reo-Coker (West Ham), Defoe (Tottenham), Johnson (Crystal Palace). SO wrong !!!!!!! How can you put Walcot in there.... I know in SPurs through and through but hes a nobody so far... I wouldnt even have Jenas in there !!!

Jake
Can't believe Jenas is in, he's shit. Theo Walcott is a surprise too, considering he's never played a single game in the premiership. This could be his big break - wouldn't it be great if he burst onto the scene like Owen did in France 98?

Its a big risk he has taken and maybe knowing he wont be the boss any more he doesnt really care !!!

hogmaw
such a shame about rooney/owen cos with them we would have the best squad and chance since to win the thing since '

Robert
ive been down to watch the arsenal reserves a few time this year and all im saying is Walcott is something special, he is quickier than henry from and standing start and is very clever footballer for his age. He will play in the CL final im certain of it.

He will play in the CL final im certain of it. This may be the case, but surely experince come into it, and having not played against any of the Pemiership playes yet wont help much. Im all for giving the new talent a chance, but its a big risk that could go either way !
hogmaw
Like Sven says, one risky player out of 23 is worth it. Walcott could be the Michael Owen of '98!
Jurgen-Jm-Imports
mm risky but i reckon rooney and owen are risky and so is lennon thats 4 players. personally i would of had phillips and bent but hey u need some risks in life and this could be a one that pays off
SkyJawa
Oh god no - David James.
Charlotte
Where the hell is Wright-Phillips?? Glad little Stewie Downings in there, he's always quick on the break. James and Ferdinand are sh*t.
DamanC
No SWP, King, Defoe......oh dear oh dear.
Rayman
Think he's right to leave King out, injured and we have plenty of that type of player. Disapointed we arnt taking SWP as he is just as good as lennon in that position. Lennon doesnt have enough experience at this level i dont think, we will see tho hope he proves me wrong. Its funny how Sven has started to gamble now with the squad when he first took over it was safety all the way, wudnt suprise me if we did something special and proved all the critics wrong. CardiffSupra
Can't beleve Sven picked walcott over bent and defoe. Thats poor.
supra dan
Can't beleve Sven picked walcott over bent and defoe. Thats poor. i thought that aswell, but defoe has 16 caps and not scored so maybe not. no doubt walcott is make or break tho, could be inspired or a disaster
