toyotatom
Maybe its just me being a computer spaz, but Im sure when I used to paypal money to people it went through instantly. keron
yeh basically when you send money, if you send money by using your credit card account...it will take a quite a few days to clear. if you use your debit account then it goes through instantly. paul ashton
In my experience a payment via paypal goes through instantly but i bought my car via bank transfer and it took about 4 days to show up on his account.
GazzaGSi
I've had 2 different scenarios with paying people on paypal. If I buy something off ebay and go though their payment system and pay via paypal, it goes thorugh instantly. If I log on to paypal and click send money, enter the other persons details in and what the goods are etc, that seems to take afew days to go through. Dunno why though, they are from the same account.
toyotatom
Just spent an age reading through all the rubbish help scenarios. Seems a lot of stuff gets regularly updated on Paypal (security stuff mainly) and if you dont keep up to date with all that then your account suffers! Apparently this is why I am now stuck sending echeques and waiting for them to clear! Great! Also seems as though now (after delving a bit deeper) the best thing to do is close my account and start up a new one! And this is their advice:Pling:
ChrisSZ
I fairly regularly send payments to people via Paypal (not ebay) from a credit card account and it always goes through instantly
zap
Should go thro' instantly, e-cheques take about 5 days, sounds like you got stuck in an e-cheque loop, new account may be the only way.
Gaz Walker
In my experience the E-cheques are when you pay by bank transfers rather than credit card (instant authorisation).
