MMMMM lycra ;) lol

Bloke I was at college with asked who I support, I said I don't follow football, he asked if I was a queer or something! I said I prefer gymnastics to which he laughed and said I must be queer. My reply was I'd rather watch athletic 19 year old girls demonstrate how supple and flexible they are, than watch 22 blokes in shorts hugging each other. He didn't mention football to me again.

I'm not quite as new as you think. I have had a watching brief on these pages for the last three years with my Brothers membership.

I wasn't going to reply because although I love my footy, it is only a game and I refuse to get all bent out of shape about it. But my father was born and raised in Tottenham, and so I proudly support the lillywhites.

We have done so well this season, don't think we dipped outside the top 6 once we got there, and we got there early on. We're still building a team and I believe we will be one of the teams to watch in the coming seasons. If I'm honest, CL is too soon for us, I think we'd be better off in the UEFA cup and to make a decent run of it.

I'm proud of what we have achieved this season and look forward to next. Be interesting to see what unfolds in the transfer window too, could be some good players coming ;)

I do think that if the boot was on the other foot and 10 of the arsenal first team were as ill, then arsenal supporters would feel similarly aggrieved. But it is only football.

Must admit, I do like having a strong british contingent though, the backbone of Spurs is home grown, and of that I am proud.

Chin up :)
