Steve W
Ours leaks and i DO do the back bolts FIRST ! ! ! BUT, it leaks MUCH less if i spray all the rubber seals with rubber 'lube' (oooooh errrrrrr ) Halfords do a Window/Seal Spray about £4 and it doesn't take much to spray it. I suppose the Smear-of-Grease is same thing ??? It only leaks at the 4 corners where the window/body/aero meet and the fit isn't 100% (how COULD it be ! ! !) All in all, it only leaks if it's raining quite HARD and only if it hasn't been sprayed for a while. FatS.

Nic
Get this every time it rains. I should imagine nic (import pimp) may be able to get these new. Missed this thread before. Thanks Jez, yes if anyone wants new seals then I can supply these. If there are enough members wanting them, perhaps I should organise a group buy, just let me know
MKIVDreamer
Not a bad idea Nic, I noticed that my rear seal is looking a little perished. (oo-er!) Definitely be interested in a GB on this. Give us an idea on price and how many people you'd need.
milocoon
I used a bit of silicon sealant on the 4 corners and put the roof on, if you`re careful removing the roof the first time the silicon stays put on the roof bit. If there is a GB Nic pm me a price as well mate ?
supra steveo
mine has been leaking abit recently, cant you pull the roof apart and do up the front 2 screws so it pulls the roof down abit more i am sure something can be adjusted, just waiting for some nice weather i.e. the not a cloud in site sort then i might be brave and pull it apart
MARTIN R
Mine leaks sometimes too, as said above I guess it's down to how it's re-fitted. agree with that:)

Nic
Can you tell me which parts you would need to replace (sorry not as familar with the aero top). http://img141.imageshack.us/img141/1319/picture17gs.png
MKIVDreamer
I'd be after the rear weatherstrip - 63252B The front weatherstrip is 63251F
Rob Davey
You need to do the back bolts first to bring the fronts into line. Also only put the roof back on on a flat surface, as body flex can make the holes misalign. Lastly get some silicone spray from Halfords, it’s used to bring rubber seals back to life and is very effective at stopping leaks.
supra steveo
i think i might need the, front seal part number - 63261F (thats if its plastic) RH seal part number - 83217F LH seal part number - 63218J
