merckx
Hi Can anyone please confirm the position for fitting a bleed valve. I've done a search but I'm still not 100%. I'm thinking Hose 1. Hose 1 - the input to the VSV Hose 2 - the output of the VSV which goes to the wastegate actuator. Thanks
JohnA
There are various ways to do it. The VSV could remain functional, or it could be disabled. Have you got a picture of the bleed valve?

jaymdee
Mate, Hose 1 is the output from the VSV back into the intake. Putting it here will do nothing. You really need to put it between the turbo & the actuator (not shown in pic). This is short hose above the actuator. I suppose putting it in Hose 2 will be ok as the VSV shuts when Turbo 2 operates so this hose is pressurised, therefore bleeding air off will still reduce the pressure on the actuator.
