Guest jonesy
Just wondering, what models are these: 1) http://www.mr2s.co.uk/Max-Power-Supra.jpg 2) http://www.supertuning.go.ro/galerie/toyota/toyota%20supra%203.jpg 3) http://www.geocities.com/Athens/Oracle/6690/80405/supra.jpg 4) http://www.albertson.edu/campus/community/student/jstringfield/images/(Cars)%20%20 sorry for all the pictures, just doing a search for the supra bodyshape.. i know some of those are kitted up, but just on about the base shape. Im assuming the top one(white softop) is the aero one found mostly in usa etc? Cheers

Homer
Just wondering, what models are these: sorry for all the pictures, just doing a search for the supra bodyshape.. i know some of those are kitted up, but just on about the base shape. Im assuming the top one(white softop) is the aero one found mostly in usa etc? Cheers Looks wise the Supra only has two models, the normal one and the TRD. The TRD is a widebody and extremely rare (1 in UK I think), all others (NA/TT, aero/hardtop, etc) have the same bodyshape. Some cars came with the optional Toyota skirts and Spats and there were also some minor cosmetic changes to the facelift cars (slightly different light for example). The bodyshape has remained the same throughout.

supraman.chris
The advice i was given before buying my TT was as follows: Manual: Automatics on average cost about 1.5-2k less than manuals as thats how much they cost when the gearbox fails and they often do on automatics. TT: For the sheer WOW factor buy the TT as i can't imagine how embarrising it may be when someone asks you if its a Twin Turbo and you have to answer with "No" I smiled all the way home knowing i'd made the right choice buying a TT! Until i reached the first petrol station that is. J-Spec: IMHO because they cost again on average between 1.5 & 2K less than the UK Spec with often very little difference. However insurance is cheaper on a UK Spec model if you can find one that is that hasn't been through the mill! All Supes are beautiful IMHO , just don't paint it Burberry Avoid red/pink Supras. Guest jonesy
Sorry for another newbish question, but what are the main differences between a 1993/4 model, and then 1996/7 models? Is there much difference in the actual apearance?
merckx
Sorry for another newbish question, but what are the main differences between a 1993/4 model, and then 1996/7 models? Is there much difference in the actual apearance? Most obvious ones. From the outside, front and rear lights. Almost clear front indicators, different indicators on the side of the car. Inside, dashboard.
RedM
Also be aware of things that might only need replacing once during the cars life-time. Coil-packs, intercooler, suspension etc. Not cheap.
