Celica Gen. 4 For Sale

My trusty Celica sadly has to make way for a 4 door saloon as my new daily driver, anyone interested please contact me and I can forward more hi res pics and whatever information you may require.

Here are some brief details.

1987 D reg Gen 4 Celica GT Auto. Just turned 60k (yup only 60k). Taxed until the end of October, MOT'd till August 15th. I have spent a lot of money bringing the car up to it's present condition, including two new genuine Toyota front wings @ £127 each. Complete auto transmission flush and fluid change.

It has had four services at my local and trusted garage, in the 18 months I have owned it with a full service only two months ago. New cambelt.

The car has given me faultless service, drives like a dream and even if I say so myself, this must be one of the best examples around.

I don't expect to recoup the money I have lavished on the car, but I'm looking for around £895. It also comes with a rather large ammount of spares including original alloys.

looks well, i used to have one of these in red, the wings are a nightmare for breeding rust, mine were replaced but painted badly and started to go again after a few months :(

never knew there was an automatic version, pity you are so far away or i'd be interested in this :(

good luck with the sale though, these cars are well specced for the age of them, and with such low mileage, seems like a great buy for someone :)

Thanks guys:thumbs:

Capman, yeah the wings do rust badly, I spent hours putting 5 coats of rust primer and paint on the underside of the new ones, once fitted Waxoyled everything, then replaced the arch liners. Hopefully no more rust:)

I can honestly say that whoever buys the car will not be dissapointed, it's really fantastic even if I do say so myself.

Out of interest I have the car on e bay:

Very good, sport mode holds the gear change longer giving a more rapid feel to the car and it sure makes a big difference if you want to get a move on, really shows the cars 147bhp off:) whilst normal is a more relaxed everyday type of drive. The changes are really smooth, kickdown is pretty instant, certainly in sport mode.
