Steve W2
Dangerous Brain - I thought that was Anita:conf: I see now that you are the dangerous part of the duo. I haven't changed my lights they have always been the gas discharge type with the electric blue look. The convoy on this is going to be the funnisest, if we all went we would take up all of the lanes on every road for about 2 miles:D I am stupidly busy at work at the mo' so the post rate will go drastically downwards:mad:

Jive
Ok - mawby asked me the other night to check out the Leisure World car park for speed bumps / ramps etc - I've just been in there on the way home from work and can confirm that there are two speed ramps [which everyone should easily get over] on the way in and when you reach the stupid painted roundabout, go straight on and take a left at the end into a massive carpark. There are no severe ramps around that place, it's probably not going to get busy with shoppers - plus it'll be out of the way of muppets opening doors onto your car etc etc.
Supragal
This is all good guys!! Keep pimping!! Jive, are you saying Leisure World is a better car park than the original choice??!?
mawby
In that case I'd suggest we move this event to that car park anyway as it's bigger and further away from the crouds. It'll save trying to move everyone on the day. What do ya all think?
Jive
Originally posted by Supragal Jive, are you saying Leisure World is a better car park than the original choice??!? This would have been the best choice to start with but hey ho - I'd deffo say this was the better car park - much more secluded and away from the general pillocks
mawby
Originally posted by Supragal Jive, are you saying Leisure World is a better car park than the original choice??!? Leisure World was the original choice, we only moved it because the speed bumps use to be horrible, but it sounds like they might have changed so I'd recommend going back to the original plan. Elliot
Hmmm...I'm lowered! Maybe someone should bring some DIY ramps or a powerful disc cutter for the speed bumps. Does anyone know the weather forecast for the 11th?
Whitesupraboy2
ok well what i reckon if this is the case...it needs to be decided sooner then later and poseted ASAP!!!! if ur sure everyone get over...mawby change ur page and post everywhere ASAP!!! i guess people who confirmed on other boards should get PM's too, to show this isnt becoming a stupid hoax
SimonB
This is going to rival Billing at this rate! The Angel's completely out of my way to get to Southampton, but sod it, I'll see you there anyway. Unless I'm really hung over and get up too late that is... Jive
Originally posted by leett i am fairly familiar with the area, i know west quay but where is leisure world in relation to west quay About 1 min drive away, if you know where Maccy Ds is - following the directions on mawbys page, instead of turning left at the traffic lights, go straight on and turn right at the next set, you can't miss Leisure World, you'll see The Quayside pub on your right and also Grosvenor Casino on your right, the entrance is between the two. As for speed bumps, as I said, they are the gradual slopes on the way in and once upto the stupid mini roundabout, you go straight across and park on the left car park - there are no speed bumps / ramps etc round that part. Was in a Mk7 Celica, so didn't say Hi! Felt a bit usless with my 140bhp! I think you should definately meet in Kent! I'd love to be able to see all the cars together. But hey, I don't own a Supra yet.... so I can't force the issue too much! Oh, it's definately on Sunday the 11th Jan tho yeah?!
