injector impedence

You wouldn't get the correct voltage dropped across the injector coil and hence the wrong current. The injectors probably wouldn't open completely.

IIRC the resistor pack has a 12V feed and then 6 individual earth-side outputs that go to the low impedance injectors, so to bypass it you would wire the 12V side of your high impedance injectors to the 12V feed for the resistor pack.

thanks for the reply digsy. so basically i can jumper the wires at the resistor pack plugs once ive worked out which wires are which?

Join 'em all mate. One monstrous solder blob on seven bits of wire jammed into the plug :)

so basically join all of the wires going into the resistor pack plug together? ive just read a thread on supraforums where you can get a plug from Honda which plugs straight into the res. pack socket. it would be nice to get hold of one of them.
