Soonto_HAS_soop
Right I've got the units installed now, sort of.... ......anyone with the Blitz SBC-ID got any photos of where they plumbed the vacuum pipes into?? I think I know whihcones to cut into, but my Japanese is a slight bit rusty!! :) Also, with the SBC-ID and Powermeter ID, has anyone else got the optional harness fitted?? It's got 4 wires that are supposed to activate the "Option 1-3" features. Can anyone tell me what exactly these 4 wires are?? And where I should/could connect them to. Ben.. Soonto_HAS_soop
I know it's late on Sat night, but come on peeps, someone must know, or be able to help me out. I want to get it all finished tomorrow (sunday) so I can go and scare some more mates tomorrow night. Ben.. P.S. If anyone is thinking of buying these units, then go for it, they look the nuts and the info they can read/display is amazing!

Is that for the optional harness?? I've got the units installed now, but haven't sorted the extra harness out, just get 4 wires and that's it. Ben.. Need4Speed
Do you mean you've installed but not wired, so it's not yet working?
Soonto_HAS_soop
No, I've got the englidh PDF format manuals for the SBC-ID and the Powermeter-ID and they are installed and working. But I have the optional harness for the SBC-ID that can run the 3 data channels, but I have no idea what or how to wire them in to the ECU. THerefore I have 4 wires in my passenger side footwell waiting to be connected. I have a feeling you are talking about the manuals that I already have? Ben.. Steve W2
Ben - I would be interested to know how you fitted those 2 units in. Have you mounted them in the sigle DIN slot under your stereo? Do you have any pics? I am just getting one and was wandering HTF I am going to do it. Cheers:)

ChrisB
Have you got one steve? do you find it useful? how hard is it to set up or do you just wire it into the ecu and the controllers do the rest?
Soonto_HAS_soop
I still haven't found out how to set the optional harness up properly. It is wired in, but it is not setup properly. It needs to be correctly configured on the units with all the different voltage settings and stuff. I asked Leon a while ago, and he said he was gonna read up and get back to me, but he hasn't yet, maybe I need to phone him again! I think that Thor can fit the optional harness aswell. Ben.. ChrisB
when they call it a harness is it not just 4 wires taken off the back of one of the boxes? what have you wired yours into ben?
Ark
Sorry to dig up an old old thread, but what's the final story on this optional harness? Are the wires an earth and three live-feeds from the main ECU loom? If so, where do I get a pin-out so I can see what I'm monitoring? Oh yeah - dummy question: where is the ECU? Passenger footwell? Cheers guys
