Sharpie
For anyone doing a top speed run - do you adjust your tyre pressures as show below: (Taken from the Michelin website btw) If not, what do you run pressure wise ?
JohnA
Looks reasonable. I run 36 all around to accomodate the odd trip to the limiter. If I were to take it to Germany for some top speed runs with the TRAC fuse off then it would be 40psi all around for me.

Chris Wilson
If you look on the sidewalls you'll see a maximum recommended (hot) inflation pressure, the tyres should give the lowest drag at that pressure, although grip may be compromised. Serious top speed runs are often made with a lot more than the recommended pressures, again to reduce tyre drag, which can be very significant. But these people also suffer tyre failures from time to time...
Bobbeh
I was watching a top speed shoot out in the US. They ran stock/high psi up front and a couple of PSI lower in the rears, this was for a standing mile competition. The Hennesy Viper won with a top speed of 217mph in the standing mile! jason m
Am I right in thinking pressures will increase a little with high speeds and warm tyres?
Chris Wilson
As the temp of a gas rises, in a contained volume, its pressure rises, yes.
