DrivingTheDream
I've PM'd Gaz but yet to here back so as its eating away at me could anyone let me know the approx cost of a good service from these guys? The car I bought has little service history and has been sat idle mainly since last Nov so I want a full service (or whatever is required/recommended) to get her running super smoothly and to give me full piece of mind. Kopite
Isn't enough oil and a trd filter about £80 on it's own, then there's the gearbox, diff and everything else?

Nick
300quid sounds about right for an A-Schedule when you take into consideration the cost of fluids, parts and labour. To add to Lockys list maybe the plugs and air filter need changing too, depends if it's standard, decatted, single and how it's been driven. A-Service should be every 6 months/6000 miles. I change the oil and filter every 3000 miles too. Some people say you should, others say you don't need too. I prefer to play it safe. 100quid?!?! What's he use, cooking oil ?? jamesmark
100quid?!?! What's he use, cooking oil ?? not at all i got valvoline oil in mine, the guy only charges £25 an hour and he is relaxed on that, oil is always at cost price aswell
DrivingTheDream
Well I've heard back and I'm looking at somewhere in the region of £500-600 for the works to make sure everything is tip top. Booked in for next Wednesday.
