TreesSZ
hi there, I tried to remove a grubby old phone holder from my dash today that belonged to the previous Japanese owner and successfully removed a sizable section of wood effect veneer. The whole effect now looking rather shite (please view attached image). My question is go for a new dash cover or cover it with a better phone holder? Rayman
Sweet baby J'! that is one pearlescent dash What gets me is the rest of the car is normal looking. They must have gone on a bender before spraying the dash. Strange!

Maybe you can completely cover your dash with one of the kits on ebay, not sure if they are any good, or maybe find a dash out of a breakers supra to spray in yer own time and not have to drive around dashless. TreesSZ
here is the rest of the car (just bought a camera, snapping everything) and any dash ideas + how to's made the little aluminium bits in the middle of the wheels myself
colsoop
It looks like a cover of the original dash, get that walnut crap off and spray it. Alternatively get a new panel, Nic sells these.
TreesSZ
does it come off easy, do I need to prime it and with what? what do I remove the glue with. I really dont want to cack the whole thing up even more!!!
TreesSZ
To everyones relief including my Girlfriends' the appalling walnut is no more. I have now instead opted for the '11 year old glue effect' which I cant seem to shift for love nor money (tried white spirit Squiffy and it aint shifting). my second question is "how do I get the new dash effect to fit over the imobiliser or do I have to get a guy to come out?"
