EBAY question

Recommended Posts

Looking for advice, i've been looking for a 205 diesel runaround. Brought a ebay Buyitnow one for £250.........however just before organising to pick it up (pay on collection offered) they contacted me saying they only had half the V5, and were looking for the other half. So i postponed the pickup. Mid last week i get an email saying they've found it. I phone the guy tuesday night and all sounds ok, he says he will ring friday night to sort out a weekend pickup. No call and car is now back up on ebay for a £300 buyitnow!

TBH i'm not overly bothered about the car and them relisting, there's plenty of others around, but i do now have one 'item to pay for' on my ebay account. What happens with this? and the feedback etc.

you delete the posting and carry on, or

contact them and ask what the hell is going on

or leave negative feedback saying you bought it at buy it now for 250 BEWARE

or report to ebay and let them sort it, but if you do report it dont delete anythig

Sounds like he's in the wrong to me, he could of course accuse you of being a non paying bidder report you to ebay and leave you bad feedback. If it really bothers you report him to ebay for not completing the sale, its under my ebay and item not received. O and leave him bad feedback.

Guest gzaerojon

also i got a feeling that if you report an item and you're the victim then they are not alowed to leave negative feedback.

i'd be pi$$ed mate if it was me, i know you can pick up another one but the point is you bought it and thats that.

give em hell :D

The seller has to go into the Unpaid Item process and select “Buyer and Seller Mutually Agree Not To Proceed”. eBay will then contact you and ask you to confirm that this is true (and not just him trying to avoid eBay fees)
