1100hp and no turbo, in fact - NO FUEL INJECTION !

Why are some people on here so surprised when a powerful car turns up that doesn't have forced induction?

In simple terms all a turbo is / does is make a smaller engine behave like a much larger one by cramming more air in, so a large displacement engine will obviously have the capability to be just as powerful as a smaller turbocharged one - and probably with a better looking torque curve, too.

Shame about the scoop on the front it kind of ruins the lines for me although it does serve a purpose.

The spec and performance are impressive though.

* Max. power: 809 kW / 1,100 hp at 7,000 rpm.

* Max. torque: 1,760 Nm at 5,600 rpm.

* 0-200 km/h 4,9 s.

* 0-300 km/h 10 s.

* Weight to power ratio: 0,9 Kg / hp
