Tom
Just been wondering, why is it that single turboed supe's sound so different to the stock twin/hybrids etc??? and if it is due to exhaust valves opening in the stock setup does that then mean that n/a's with the same exhaust system as single would sound like a single? tbourner
Air flow is different, and it's air flow charachteristics that determine noise produced. Twins mix the air up a lot pretty much through the rev range, meaning the air is 'pushed' out because of the way the turbo's spin. Single does the same but from a higher rpm, so down low they are louder and more like an NA, up top they HUGE turbo will produce a different noise to both an NA and a twin.
