jot_ie
Sorry for raising this topic again but I havent managed to find the answers I need in a search I am going to replace my dials with these. see below Complicated story but I need to keep the mph speedo converter because of the speed delimiting side effect, but I also need my dials in km/h Some irish governmental bright spark changed decided it was a good idea to change all the speed limits to kilometers. Anyway these are the dials I am thinking of putting in; standard black faces white numbers during the day (red for the mph ones) and blue (or some other colour) at night (still red for the mph ones) suggestions welcome, i think blue might be getting a bit overdone at this stage I have read as much as I can find but they all refer to leds, soldering and confusing stuff like that There are direct replacement leds that fit the original bulb holders afaik. Are these any good, do they give a good even spread of light. Also is it possible to just put coloured gels behind to give the different colours and not replace the bulbs Also can anybody supply a list of the amount and type(not part numbers but actual type of bulb) of the stock bulbs for the dash, heater controls etc.... The seeming endless combinations of dials colours gels leds bulbs etc has me thinking in circles Hope the above makes sense Regards John
