Alarm problem??

Just connected a new batterey and basically the car aint working! The lights come on when i open the door, and the buzzer comes on when i put the keys in the ignition but when i turn it nothing happens. i have a clifford concept 300 but nothing happens when i press any of the buttons. any ideas?? im worried! :(

I'd pop along and take a look with ya if my Supe was working.. grr :)

 

Does it seem like the immobiliser is still engaged ? If the keyfob isn't being recognised by the system, maybe as the battery was disconnected for a while you may have to re learn the fobs to the system. ?!? Just a wild guess :) Matt H.. Where are you :D

Firstly, check that you haven't accidentally left any cables unconnected.

 

Keeping things simple, try disconnecting the negative side of the battery, leave it off for a few seconds then reconnect again.

 

Next, I'd start checking fuses. Remember to check both fuse boxes.

 

If that doesn't work, you need to find the fuses for the main alarm... Do you know where that is?
