roscodav Posted December 1, 2003 Share Posted December 1, 2003 I was driving along today and the doors sounded like they started locking, unlocking, over and over again (although they werent. they were actally staying open all the time but trying to lock etc. Alarm seamed to be workign fine, started, ran , stopped, went off etc but the doors didnt lock. checked everything that i could think of but to no avail, I was also unable to lock the car via any means.. They about 30 minutes after it started, it stopped. It is now back to normal. Apart from being taken over by a spirt from another plane of existence, has anyone got any ideas. I actually ended up going to Toyota while it was doing it but they wouldn't look at it and said it is probably going to need a whole new lock assembly on one of the doors, £160 plus labour and VAT and a 2 week wait while they get the parts.
