Suprasteve Posted April 24, 2006 Share Posted April 24, 2006 Please tell me whats the point us continuously cleaning and caring for our cars when there are other people out that clearly don't give a shit. Within the last 2 weeks alone after leaving it in a public carpark (all different places) i've come back to find paint from another car on my drivers door where people carelessly open their door to wide, a small dent above the rear arch (god knows how that happened) and a black scratch mark where someone has driven into my front bumper. Luckily most come out with a bit of T-Cut. Also yesterday i pulled into B&Q car park and stopped when joining the back of the queue, then suddenly i get smacked from behind. Without moving forward i got out to have a look and expect the worst. I'm thinking at this point do i go mental and start shouting or do i stay calm and deal with it maturely but i thought accidents do happen i'll be friendly. The lady in her early 40's got out of her basic civic and aggressively says to me "theres no damage!", i replied "i can't tell, you're still touching the back of my car!?!" We both drove off together to a more convenient place and on reinspection there were just a couple of scratches but nothing worth worrying about. The bitch didn't even apologise - what is wrong with these people ?!?!?! It's not like i use it much, i can only imagine the state it would be if i used it everyday. sorry for the rant - i feel better now i got it off my chest. She also got clipped by a third woman (reversed into her front end in the station car park) but at least her husband tracked my missus down on the train and handed over contact details should there have been any damage. It was only a nudge on the front (no damage) I went and bashed on the ladies window and scared the shit out of her. She was truely sorry and hadnt cause any damage. I pulled over to check and he just leaned out and informeed me theree was no damage. Infact there were some scuff marks but he could at least have pulled over.
