Dash Rendar Posted April 23, 2006 Share Posted April 23, 2006 If you're using a router, you can significantly speed up torrent transfer speeds by enabling port forwarding on your router. Essentially, this means finding out what port your torrent client software uses, then setting up your router to forward all incoming traffic on that port directly to a designated computer (the one with your torrent client) on your network.
