Sorry again Ken for not getting back to you sooner, not been on here for a while. I can and have made more tools, Bolarbag bought a set I made for him. If I dont get them back from ttpower I will make more. After this latest episode I think I might have to take a deposit that I would refund on return of the tools. Markie
Crap, cant remember which way the timing belt guide disc faces.. I looked at it and think it makes sense to have the disc sides turning outwards. Is this the correct fitting? In the original guide it says cup side outwards, but what does that mean? markssupra
The star goes towards the back, the front plate goes on with the dish outwards. If you put it on other way it will catch on cam belt. Check out the pictures in this thread.

Thank god, as I had finished putting it all back togeather before you replied as I had faith in my logic Although there is a little bastard sitting on my shoulder still asking if I am sure I put it in the right way

Twisted
Before I start doing this on my supra, is this the same for a 2000 vvti TT triptronic model?

Twisted
If you can't get a tool I held on of the fly wheel bolts with a spanner and cracked it off

markssupra
Do you still lend /sell the tools? Cheers I stopped lending the tools as even when I asked for a deposit I lost 3 sets, mainly to new members! Unless your willing to leave a £300 deposit I wont lend them out again. I could make you a set for £200. If anyone wants the word version, please PM me with an email address:)
