Paul Whiffin
I've done a few on Jap Supras without any problems apart from them running a bit rich on cold start, couldn't make it perfect even with the water temp correction feature on the Ultimate which is a bit basic in the great scheme of things. Nic
I had an Ultimate which had a fault with the ignition a month or so ago, could be a dodgy one you have. Still waiting to find out exactly why it is dodgy; fault or abuse (by the previous garage), should find out in a couple of weeks or so, once it's back with GReddy for testing. SupraJames
Wayne, I know its not Sussex, but I am looking at fitting an Emanage Blue to my UK and will be installed and mapped by Abbey Motorsport on their Dynopak, chap down there has mapped more cars that I have had hot dinners, he does around 2/3 a day, and has been doing over 10 years..! Might be worth a look, rates are Workshop - £60 p/h and Dynopak £100 p/h
BURT
whar happend burt? well lets see, i took ToyotaTom up there as his car is having work done by them, Greg was interested to see my install as he said he had heard alot about BL Kits and wanted to see one in the flesh... so i popped the bonnet and it only took him seconds to start picking holes in the install... so i let him comment on what he thought was wrong etc, he then looked around the car car and Quoted ''Oh well its a looking pretty car'' as if to say the car looks nice but the bl kit isn't all that.. I wasnt that botherd of his opinion but somewhat puzzled me as to why he felt he had to diss my car, i didnt feel that i was a very proffesional approach to good PR for TurboFit. I may have it all wrong and Greg may be one of those guys who say what they think despite others, if thats the case then fair enough as we are all entilted to our own opinion. turbofit as a tuners do not appeal to me anyhow so its not like i was looking for a good ontro to the company as i have complete confidence in Pheonix as a tuner and have no reason to look elsewhere anyway. bromy
so i popped the bonnet and it only took him seconds to start picking holes in the install... To be fair Burt I think you will get that at any other tuners they will always do things differently, I travel from near manchester to have work done at Phoenix as I am happy with their work

Yeah Phoenix is a top place with damn good prices but i really think Mark needs to expand a little. As im sure we all know good work is damn hard to find. Ok remembering the whole conversation with yourself and having an excellent memory despite my age I am somewhat surprised at the comments you made with regard to my looking at your car. I pointed out that we can tune the e-manage, I did not say that we do it ourselves as we have a very good tuner at the rolling road we use who does the mapping for EMS's other than SAFC's which we do inhouse ( In fact we are also only just coming to terms with the AEM and as such have booked our car into Thor for mapping) At no point in the conversation did I disrespect either you, the car or the work done, I did point out a couple of things that we would have done differently but this does not constitute disrespect. In fact not only did I say that it was a very pretty car but should you care to remember correctly that after you gave me a spin in it I did say how fast and well it went. I am fully aware that everybody has their own favourite people to work on their car and that is how it should be, but if you wanted to put us down or pick a fight then why not do it then instead of posting inaccurate comments on here after your visit. Your opinion is yours and we respect that providing you keep to reality and do not wander off into fantasy. All in all you are always welcome here at Turbo fit as are doors are open to everybody even if only for a chat and a coffee.
supradibbs
only just caught up with this thred and i must say would be very suprised to hear Greg speak that way about anyones car or kit,and to answer the comment as to way greg is not installing the emanage for me and mapping it is for the simple reason that i have not asked him too because to be quite frank he and sam have done enough for me off late and i know how extremly busy he is if greg says at any time that he can do i would not hesitate to get hm too do it hope that clears things up

Ian R
I would agree with the comments that Wayne has said at the end of the day what matters is whether you are happy with your Turbo install. I know I am and mine was done by Turbofit. I would also add that the is nothing wrong with Greg expressing an opinion the difference is if he did he did it on a one to one basis and not on a public forum. Now you have done that which I think is wrong. Just to add there are other highly respected traders on this forum that have expressed an opinion on things to me and I respect what they have said on a one to one basis and that is where it has stayed. My I add non of which have been about my single set up

Greg,, no i am not trying to to pick a fight, when i left you guys on sat i felt somewhat deflated, i did say in my comments that you are entiltled to your opinions and that you are probably just one of those peeps who say what they mean, call a spade a spade etc there was no malice meant in what i said, when you said that it was a pretty car it just sounded a little false when you said it,and thats why i felt you were digging my car, i wasnt saying you wre dissing the install just voicing your thoughts out loud. when i said in another post aboput you mapping emanage etc i did not mean you in person, i meant your tuner. sorry if this thread has spiraled out of contrll, i say again there was no malice meant. Next time i see you we can have a chat about it and clear things up if that suits.
