Branners
join the back of the queue sonny, mines down there at the moment taking all of Matts time (emanage and UK spec is not a common thing). Once its done then its off to Ian C for some mappin and then I can start to enjoy the car again. JB

heckler
have the emanage blue too fit anyone in the sussex area that can fit and do a basic map??? Piece of piss to fit! - if you have a fields harness otherwise not too bad...
Branners
Know how you feel john! All in good time eh! I think Matt is hoping that getting the blue working on a UK spec gives some pointers on getting the Ultimate working properly. The one thing that worries me is that Gavin L went to use an emanage many moons ago and had to change his plans as it wouldnt work on a UK spec... I still have my SAFCII sitting in the car!! Alex
It worked on my VVTi with a MAF...it *should* be the same. Only difference is that I had wasted spark.
supradibbs
well trickyricky has very kindly offered to install and do a basic map for me then i will hopefully get it in for a full setup
Pig
I think part of the problem is also that the jspec cars give different figures to uk. e.g kph instead of miles!
JohnK
I believe it is only the ignition side of things that is causing a problem on the UK spec. If yiu just use the fuel and main harness it works fine. This is all down to yet another UK / US difference that is unknown at the moment.
BURT
I was at turbo fit yesterday with Tom and Greg eas giving him all the chat that he could map and install his emanage ultimate.. if this is so then why cant they ( Turbofit) map yours????? JB They work just the same as with a Jap spec car mate, just wire it up, configure it and it will start straight up and off you drive. No problems, only slight difference is the map sensor wiring. Ultimate is a different story

Branners
definitely not how its working on my car, wont see the ignition signal properly. Are any of the UK specs with emanage part of the club Paul? Would be interested to see how it was installed. JB
Paul Whiffin
Strange, I've done about 8 UK cars now approx and never had a problem. None are part of the club as far as I know. Have you tried another emanage unit? I had an Ultimate which had a fault with the ignition a month or so ago, could be a dodgy one you have. Tricky-Ricky
Strange, I had an Ultimate which had a fault with the ignition a month or so ago, could be a dodgy one you have. Thats interesting Paul, as i bought an ultimate for my S14 and found it caused an ignition fault, i also tried a friends from the same batch and it caused the same fault! so it either had to be the ultimate or the cable, got fed up trying to sort it and sent it back in the end! hope it was a couple of bad units as i would like to try it on the Supra later.
