JamesArup
Hi all, I have one of the old type HKS dump valves on my J-Spec TT. It does the job, but I used to have the HKS SQV on my old car and frankly ..... I miss the noise The current dump valve is actually attached to the FMIC piping (see attached piccy). I'm not sure if it is actually welded on, but it really doesn't look like it's going anywhere. My question is, will this come off and the HKS SQV go in it's place, or will I need a whole new section of piping for the SQV? Cheers for any help J
dude
I'd defo say that you could remove that old BOV and attach the SSQ-V onto the mounting on the IC pipe , you will need some circlip pliers to do this thats all . Dude:flame Dev
JamesArup
Kewl ... that sounds ok then I've taken a close up of the actual attachment (it's all I can see!). I am assuming that the two areas that I have marked on the attached piccy are either end of a very large circlip? Will the SQV go straight in there .... or will I need some kind of fitting kit? Cheers for the help Dude, J
