Steve Cargill
General seems to be 36 front and 34 rear if you have normalish sized wheels. (Edited by Steve Cargill at 9:16 pm on Nov. 28, 2001)
Bradb
Standard Jap wheels (i know, i know)
Phil Wall
Standard Jap Door sticker says 36 front and rear. For stock 16’s or 17’s 30 is too low, steering will be heavy and the car will probably wallow in corners. Braking performance could be reduced as well, tires will wear at the edges. General consensus is between 34 to 36 I run 35 rear 34 front. Tire wear is pretty uniform at these levels.
Branners
The ride is greatly improved with 30psi in the tyres though....I tend to run mine up to 36 and they slowly go down to 30 so I can actually feel when its time to pump them up again. Ring Master
Your all cheesy knobs..... Run 74psi front and 66psi rear and instead of filling with air, fill with helium, this helps keep unsprung weight down. Well, thats what I read on a US list anyway
Bradb
It seems better. Its pi**ing down at mo, so not the best time to try it out. Although i couldn't resist trying the old classic "Foot down, back-end slide till Trac cont kicked in. Bizzarely it didn't and the car powered forward. I'll be stupid then. Thanks for the PSI advice, seems to have worked, but to whom should I send the bill for my new set of tires mid December?
FaithStalker
What about 18inchers? I have no idea what to put in mine? havnt even checked the pressures yet since i got it 3 months ago ! oooo i am naughty !
Guest Martin F
I use about the same pressures (18" Kahn's), 36psi front and rear. May be worth using slightly less in the rears now the weather has changed.
Ian C
! I was told 29 rear and 32 front! In fact, my tyres showed incorrect pressure wear patterns when at 33/33... Pirelli P-0's, 18" rims. -Ian

Phil Wall
The Supra wears expensive boots. So when you found a good pressure match for you car, I would check it weekly. It is also a good way to spot a slow puncture. I had a valve neck go at the seal with the alloy, 1000 miles after fitment, I think it got a knock on a track day, I lost 5lb in one week, then 2lb a day, then 10lbs on the day it went completely. As the power steering is so strong I did not feel the difference until the day I lost 10 lbs. I use an electronic gauge accurate to 0.5lb
