MrRalphMan
Guys, no the better weather is coming, I want to get the wheels looking shipshape. At the moment, although I clean them often, I and getting water spots on them. No I can get them almost away with a lot of elbow grease, but what metal polishes can you recommend to use to get them coming up clean again? Thanks, Paul
Guest gzaerojon
be carefull using any metal pollish if they are lacquered as it will bugger them up. i would try some car pollish (autogylm super resin pollish) first, that should shift the water marks

Jspec Germany
For anything that's not just polished metal, use a good car polish. For metal that has been polished or is going to be polished, I recommend Mother's Aluminum Mag/Wheel Polish. I've been using it for years and haven't found anything that is better on polished metals. Seb
I used Meguiar's Hot Rims All Wheel cleaner from time to time to shift stubborn marks, as it's one of the few products on the market that is safe for those wheels, then Meguiar's NXT Metal Polysh (has fancy polymers in it hence the name) to get rid of any ground in marks and then Swissol Autobahn wheel wax for long lasting shine and protection. Of course, now that I have gunmetal wheels, I don't even clean them !
Jake
I've been reading up on metal polishing lately and I noticed that ZoopSeal is recommended. Anyone tried it?

Bobbeh
Halfords sell a Turtle wax polish spray for wheels that you can wipe around and dry off easily, that works well.

nickyboy
Meguiar's NXT Metal Polysh to clean them up. Followed by some alloy wheel wax - http://www.alloywheelwax.co.uk/ - every couple of months. Still get water marks with the wax but they will polish straight out - no need for elbow grease - if you have used the wax.
