klump
Just wondering how many people fit a supra in a single modern garage and manage to get out of the car door ? if you can fit it in, in the first place ?
NeoFuture
i have a garage in a block and it "JUST" fits ! the door is a bit tight tho bit of limbo some times if i park too close

Robert
not all single garages are the same width, i can fit it in mine and just get out but not my friends. Just have to measure it.
NeoFuture
its very tigh, but there is about a 1.5 foot gap to get out the door, and im not exactly slim and i can get out (there is always the boot i spose lol)
milocoon
My garage has a 7` foot wide door and I try to enter the garage and go right a little, but theres danger doing that so I have a piece of foam near the door to protect the edges when I open the door. Out of site means any joy fu***rs have 3 hurdles. 1) The wifes laguna is in front of the garage 2) The garage has 2 locks 3) The Supra is immobilised and the "Fat Joy Fu***rs couldn`t get in the car anyway, I might need new paint but they won`t get in the car. I`ve put a few kg on recently but Its alright still and works, a few more years and I might be suffering from contortion !

Daston
mine fits like a glove, got a tennis ball on string that hits the windscreen when I am in. The only down side is I have 2 pillers that make getting out fun
whitesupratt
In a single garage?
ChrisSZ
Mine's tight - about an inch either side of the wing mirrors at the entrance but a little more room once in. The best bit is that I couldn't get it into next doors garage (next to mine) even though they have a much bigger, much more expensive house
milocoon
Tight is nice ! "Naughty but Nice "
Mas
I think it'd be better if we all go for Lambo doors then:d
miko_supra
I put mine in my garage when im not using it for longer than a week or so, i have to climb out of the boot to get out!
lockys96
thats why its good to have a areotop, you can get out the roof, but not the door, with a climbing frame drilled to your garage wall, so you dont scratch the paint work of course
GeordieSteve
I put mine in my garage when im not using it for longer than a week or so, i have to climb out of the boot to get out! The BOOT? Are you an envelope?
Ian Ian
I get mine in a single garage .................with my ZXR900 too !!! ................yup its a tight squeeze ! only an inch or two to spare ! Cheers Ian
Mike M
I must be lucky, it's tight getting in the 7x7 door but i can walk round sup and work on it if i park closer to the opposite side. It does look massive when it's in the garage tho, best bit is firing it up inside with the sound all round about you. great
TT-DEK
I have to open drivers window as to squeeze out or ive no chance. Very rarely in there cos of that, oh, and don,t forget the foam on the wall to protect the door?. Then there is no room for any thing else. Fu*king cats have to jump all over it to get out (footprints) ahh.
uk-rich
get some carpet on the wall, normally you can get a strip for nothing (useless to them being so small)
Guest Supersonic
Isnt it generally easier to reverse in, then you can use your mirrors to gauge width better than you would driving forwards?? The carpet is a good one though...line the walls with it 70's styleeee!
maxaerott
my garage is nearly done when its finished it will have a 16 foot door might be able to drift into it if im careful

Harps
Bloody tight squeeze for me as well, I usually pull the passenger mirror in and park as far to the left as possible to get out. But I'm not a small lad. It does mean I have to get the wife to see me in
JohnA
thats why its good to have a areotop, you can get out the roof, but not the door,... sheeeeesh, and I thought that my garage was tight. At least I can half-open the door and squeeze through. Just.
