sideshowbob
Ooooh, cool thread! Motocross has to be the best sport on the planet.....ever! Used to race a few yrs back, loved every minute of it, even the 'get-offs!' Have recently decided to get another 'crosser. It's been 5 yrs or more since i've even ridden one! I'm gonna have to put some pics up i'm afraid, sorry if they're too big, but anyone who is into off roading will enjoy 'em! May not be the best quality as they're all scanned... Homer
I used to race in the south west (15 yrs ago) in the regional SW leagues and did pretty well. Raced YZ80's and kx125's when I was a kid Not been on a bike since I got my driving license... would love to get back on a bike but would probably be dead all too soon after
Animal
I'm into my supermotards. Not had one since my Husky 610 got nicked a couple of years ago & I bought the Supe. All being well, I'll be picking up an XT600 to do the commute to Manchester soon
JohnA
I used to be heavily into enduro and trail bikes. Had XT550, XT350, XT600, KLR600, IT490 Never was truly good at off-road challenges though, I was far too scared to follow other nutters and risk breaking bones. I would do wheelies, smaaaaaall jumps and ride up stairs and such, but nothing dramatic. It takes a different approach to self-preservation for someone to jump over large things and go up vertical hills (well they *looked* vertical to me!) The upside is that I don't get warnings from my bones when the weather is about to change. Can go through customs and metal detectors with no bells ringing either. Animal
I've only had one bad accident on bikes, but that severed a nerve in my shoulder. I now ride one-handed. And I'm 32 and I already ache. Still wouldn't give up bikes, though - not untill I can get the Supra to pull wheelies!

Animal
No, just severed some of the nerves to my left shoulder. I'm alright from the elbow down, but have very little movement in my shoulder and can't bear any weight, so can't actually reach the handlebar. I say it's my excuse for making mistakes - I can only f**k up!
