Not your typical night!

I had promised a friend of mine that I'd take him and his girlfriend out in my car sometime and as I'm up for sale I thought I'd better make it soon, so tonight I went and picked up my mate then his girl friend around the corner, about 2 mins later we notice something lying in the road, we get nearer and see it's a cat, we were on a main road and we believe it had just been hit.

Across the road was a layby and a guy was just in his car looking over, we believe he had hit the cat as he looked a little in shock, we got out the car and I put the hazards on and we saw another car coming the other way towards the cat and tried to alert the driver but she drove straight over the cat!!!!, luckily and very luckily the cat was right in the middle of that lane and the force of the air rolled the cat over a couple of times, as soon as this happened the cat tried to run and almost got away but Debbie managed to pick the cat up. I had a blanket in the car and we wrapped the the shaken moggy and got back in the car, the guy in the lay by was still just staring!

At this point I had forgotton what my mates girlfriend did for a living! she's a vet! and we rushed the cat straight to the 24 hour vet surgery that she works at, we were there a few mins later and the report so far is that nothing appears to be broken but x rays and other stuff are taking place right now, hopefully the cat will survive, I really hope it does as I'm a sucker for cats!

So it was an eventfull night! I will update on how the cat is, and on the way back from the vets I had a play with a porsche 911 and a mini turbo!

Phew!

Mr practical head how are you gonna return poor moggy to its home?

If the cat is fine they keep it in, they suspect it is actually a stray and as the vets are so close to where it happened my friends girl said that people always phone there first if their pet has gone missing. if no calls then they will re home the cat.
