letmeshowyou
Hi ppl, Just been chatting to Greg at Turbofit about having an exhaust made. He's given me an idea of a price, but suggested it would be alot cheaper and easier if I could first off source a back box myself with a 3" inlet... So... the question is, given that I don't want something mega loud (in fact the quieter the better really!) does anyone have any recommendations on a box to use, and where I can get one from (traders maybe?)by any chance please? Ta, Adi.
Lucifer
Ou Blitz NUR spec is only £488 adn teh back box is £249. If you want a quiet exhaust that is properly flow tested, tehn just get an HKS Super dragger. We can do a great deal on these.

Stonkin
Sorry to hijack this thread, but it may also be useful to others. Paul, i hadnt seen those 'backboxes' of yours before and had never thought of changing my exhaust that way. I've currently got a fully decatted super dragger and it is to quiet. Do you have any pics of those exhausts fitted? What is the quality of them like with regards to flow? So if i was to get one of these and get a place like turbo fit to either mate that up to my centre decat or get them to run it right up to the end of the 1st decat? What is it that makes the turbo fit exhaust sound like they do, as surely the sound is more to do with the backbox? Thanks....

pistonbroke
Ok, so its not silent, but when its not under load it makes very little noise, Just a nice deep runmble, its only when you give it some that it starts to sing.

Its not restrictive, but there are better designed exhausts around, its been knocking about for a fair few years that.
Pig
Adi, how about the Boost Logic 4", Quiet, subtle and cheap. It fits your every need
letmeshowyou
quiet?! are you kidding me?! Martin's twisted my arm and the Super Dragger is now on order. Couldn't argue at that price really (plus it comes out straight so dont need to worry about spats being in the way!) there will be trouble if I don't get in the 13's at the rumble!
