JohnA
hi there been on the phone today trying to get a quote for single:) see if you can pass it on as an economy-driven downgrade. Standard cars have two turbos, you have crippled it's power for better fuel consumption (which is not far from the truth, if you go full throttle off-boost:innocent: ) It may fly with some insurers, not all are 100% clued up. PS My obsession with 'stock' may now make sense from yet another angle:eyebrows:
mikeyh
yes that might work but i realy want an agreed value? ive tryed everywhere and no one will give an agreed value not even lancaster, they told me that the car has to be over 15yrs old:search:

Also if you don't do too many miles (up to 5000) Heritage will give you classic policy with agreed value.

mikeyh
Just spoke to Michelle at SKY and my new turbo going on will cost me an extra £86:70 Over the moon and then some thats very cheap what is your total premium then?
terribleturner
That would have been nice No think it just short of £1200 for single turbo 94 j-spec with me being 27 with 1 ncb. Agreed value at the momment of £12K.
Kopite
Mine's £1900 with me being 24, 3yrs NCB and 0 points. Think they're charging me more because i'm northern and therefore better
Tom S
mine's approx £950 with 6 points and 9+ yrs protected no claims. and I am
JohnA
I'm £300odd, but that's with more age and no points whatsoever. No 'single' premium either. If I had to trade higher insurance premiums for 10-20years chopped off, I'd go for it fella:devil: . Yep.
