Mike
We have one we like to call 'Martha Mad Woman'. She has an arrangement of gnomes and other animal type ornaments that she arranges in her garden and speaks to. From what we can gather if they are naughty in some way they get separated from the group and turned upside down as punishment. She will literally stand at the fence and just stare, it's quite unnerving really. How dare you bad mouth Martha Madwoman on a public forum... she's a pillor of that community and a credit to all of gnomekind! bad gnomes! bad gnomes! Mike
Why don't you go and live with her if you like her so much. I have been... secretly.... I might take a leaf from her book actually and start ranting at people in the streets for no reason... no-one seems to mind and it looks very therapeutic.. or do you have to be old and wearing a dressing gown to qualify? That could well explain the staring. On a slightly different note, one of James' puppies [Meg], just stares at me as well, all night, no matter where I am. Its very disturbing.
