Pete
I agree with Charlotte. It's great to be back at work with all my staff - all happy and shiney after their extended weekend... ...yeah right. On the plus side, there isn't a barrage of email to sort out and all the servers are peachy
how_supra
It could always be worse I guess.

how_supra
no it couldn't?! Yes it could. For example, you could have pus dripping from your ears. That would be horrible.

Thats within the first 30minutes of starting work
how_supra
I'll take the pus over being at work... Really? How about discovering you had two heads??? Or would you rather have your fingers chewed off by wild dogs than be at work?

Mike
Really? How about discovering you had two heads??? Or would you rather have your fingers chewed off by wild dogs than be at work? I'd have to pass on the figures being chewed off thing because then I wouldn't be able to play computer games, which after all, is the very essence on being off work... but if it was a rudimentary grazing to the face, and minor mauling to the arms and legs, I'd be happy with a couple of day with that... So you are basically saying you would rather be at work then have your fingers chewed off entirely by wild dogs - in order to facilitate the compulsory bank holiday game playing activitities mentioned above?? Charlotte
YES When i said out in the world again i didn't necessarily mean at work, just pleased to be out of the flat.

Charlotte
Thats quite frightening, what do they stare at?? We have one we like to call 'Martha Mad Woman'. She has an arrangement of gnomes and other animal type ornaments that she arranges in her garden and speaks to. From what we can gather if they are naughty in some way they get separated from the group and turned upside down as punishment. She will literally stand at the fence and just stare, it's quite unnerving really.
