Kev.O
After seeing the Stonkin's thread the other day http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=64686&highlight=sprayed it inspired me to finally get round to painting my engine cover. I went for metallic black in the end with the use of plasticoat. Not sure whether to laquer it or not. What do you think?
supragold
I think it looks good. Nice job. But I would laquer it to give it a bit of shine.
Kev.O
It is nice and shiney. Looks great when the sun catches it. When I tested the paint with laquer on a piece of plastic, it looked like the sparkle from the metallic wasn't so prominent.
supragold
Oh. I just thought laquer would give it a smoother finish. Either way it looks good mate.
Kev.O
Thanks mate. Maybe I should use the laquer. Just wasn't sure due to the plasticoat paint I used!
