SimonB
I'm going to be fitting my Emanage ultimate soon to replace my Emanage blue. I'm just trying to decide whether to hook it up to the knock sensors or intake/water temp. What have other people done? Is the knock monitoring any good if you hook it up to the knock sensors? I already have intake temp hooked up to my E01 for monitoring that, and I don't suppose I'll need to use an intake temp map for anything. I suppose I might use a water temp map possibly. Matt Harwood
Water temp map is very useful for a nice cold start when you have bigger injectors.
Ian C
Water temp I'd say. You can pull a bit of fuel for cold start if you've got big injectors. It's good to see in the datalogs as well, see if your cooling system is OK. Air intake temp I can't really get to work properly, it sits on -20degC most of the time. Might be worth trying that out as a knock sensor in the future -Ian
