b_have
Did a suspension/crossmember re-torque and sheared one of the captive stud/bolts . Can't believe such a small dia bolt is rated at 160 ft/lbs, or is my manual wrong? Anyone who has recently broken a Supe will surely have these (they are handed, I need a nearside L/h one). If anyone has one please let me know. Thanks.

JohnA
Have you got the CJ manual Charlie? It would be interesting to see what Mr "T" has to say. 160lbft is a hell of torque for this little fella

Chris Wilson
I think you'd get away with using the other hand one, you may have to trim the anti turn strip, or remove part of it. So long as it jams against something to stop it all turning it will be OK.
