GavinL
Hi.. Over the last few days I have noticed a hissing noise coming from the left hand side if the car when the first turbo is online, it sounds like it's just behind the firewall. My DSBC is located in the glove box however the noise doesn't sound seem to come from that nor does the boost setting alter the hissing in anyway. The car runs fine....any ideas chaps? Guest Martin F
Firing in the dark here........... But could be a leak around the EGR system. Need a bit more info though. Gav can't remeber do you have a boost meter ?? If so are you still making the same levels as before the hissing ??
GavinL
Hi... I am using the DSBC as a boost gauge. It is currently set to show peak so I should probably change it and test again although I'm sure all is okay in that respect. I had considered doing the EGR mod as per www.mkiv.com at some point however I was more inclined towards a problem with the DSBC connection in that area whilst the car is boosting.
