really strange, because the car would start but i had to give it a bit of throttle to make sure and it would drive fine, but it did feel odd. I think if it had been a manual it would have stalled in neutral but being auto it seem to just hold on. VERY strange as i know i had it wired up correctly.

oh great, i just bought a thor fcd :( bet i'm gonna have this problem too

To be fair, I've fitted loads of Thor FCD's and I've not ever had a problem. I have had a couple of problems with the speed convertors, that was then traced to interference from electo-luminescent dials, and Pete changed them immediatly without quibble.

I'd suggest re-fitting it from scratch. Double check the pins you're connecting to are the correct ones, then if you're still having problems, contact Pete.

Does you're engine warning light come on? - If so, you've got the in/out wires the wrong way around.

yeah make sure you have conected into the right wires too, it's easy to get them wrong as although all the pins are all labelled, some are not used, worth a double check as if it is as if you spliced into the wrong wire or something

Have to say my install of the thor vfcd couldn't have been easier, no probs at all, if Matt has done loads with minimal trouble then it's sounding like youve either installed it wrong or upset something else in the process...
