Best polish for a red car.

I normally use Autoglym super resin polish but it has left white spots in stone chip holes.

Looking for a polish that will cover the white spots, remove a bit of hazing and just generally bring the car up a treat.

Probably going to have to go to Halfords who do Autoglym, Meguiars, T-Cut polishes and Turtlewax.

Anyone?

You will find it difficult to fill the stone chip holes with coloured polish.

Better to do them with a matching paint (yes, one by one!)....

If you use the aerosol option, spray a little into the aerosol cap, allow it to thicken for a few minutes and then apply with a very thin paint brush.

Seems to give a better result than the little touch up bottles you can buy..

Then polish as normal.

The Colour Magic polish does seem to give a bit of extra lustre to the paint, otherwise use Autoglym or Mother's which is probably the best I've seen for a while.

The waterles washing system I've just tried (http://www.go-waterless.co.uk) contains a very good finishing polish too. It can be applied in sunlight and leaves no streaks (my car is black, so I know your problems :)).
