doeboy
Hi guys, just registered and looking for TT MT6 speed. Cant decide if importing is really as safe as the importers make it out to be? Uk TT MT6 are rare, and i'm thinking my £10k will go further buying at import auction such as Bonsai cars? Anyone used them or can recommend a good importer? Thanks, appreciate any help Doeboy

hogmaw
I paid them a four figure deposit, and when the car did not come thru (found one elsewhere) I got full refund with no problems, so that is a good sign in my book
doeboy
hey thanks guys. Looks like from other threads, this Jurgen JM imports is worth a call. I've only heard good things about that. I hate paying garage/showroom prices and there are many private guys who are in fact mascerading as traders who garage the car for 6 months to avoid paying VAT. Cheecky buggers! Do you really make a cost saving by buying fresh in import vs uk based models?
tbourner
Buy mine! Sorry, couldn't resist. You save loads with an import because the UKs are so rare, especially a TT6. Most people look for UKs for insurance reasons, if your insurance isn't too bad then a jap is probably the way to go (IMO of course!). He will keep you informed with all the details throughout the process and put up with endless stupid questions remaining polite and profesional throughout
