TreesSZ
Just came back from a class holiday in Tunis. Heartily recomend it to anyone! Saw the Sahara, rode a camel, went off road in a Toyota Patrol 4x4, saw the smaller coloseum where I think they filmed Gladiator adn didnt get any nasty belly complaint! Didnt someone else from the club go too?

how_supra
I went to Djerba a few years back [island just off the coast of Tunisia], had an absolutely amazing time. Went on a safari tour over to the mainland also in a Toyota Patrol. Rode a couple of camels - some quite scary. Saw where they filmed star wars, visited the homes of the cave-dwelling Troglodyte people, ate lots of traditional foods, would also recommend it. peter richards
yes me two weeks ago , weather was nice and warm , hotel was very nice , with good food , port el kantoui is where we stayed , would go again but only for a week at a time as i found there wasnt much outside the hotel in the nights , and unless you went on an organised trip , would have been a pita to get around . but we went for a relaxing break and certainly got that :)
