Sadly yes. Mind you, I'm not sure about some of 'em. Seem a bit too full of themselves for my liking.

Yes, you'll find the blokes who stride around in the free weights section and the people, who actually hit the runners and do some work are very different breeds... if you suddenly find yourself buying a very thin vest and some very baggy, very brightly coloured trousers, you'll know which camp you fall into... ;) :D

erm, so we can rule out the North / South divide in this theory.. :)

Well...in gyms anyway. We're all miserable buggers in them. ;)

There is some amazing body language going on too. I think it's a kind of neanderthal territorial thing going on. People want to make their own areas, but can't as it's all shared.

everyone should go to a gym its good for the mind and body. pete you should find a boxing club round your way lots of good talks and laugh's and it will get the flab off and your fitness up in no time or if you don't fancy that plenty of skipping will get a gut off;)

Used to do Karate - hope to take it up again when I'm in better shape.

Don't want to box, I'll ruin my rugged good looks! ;)

Well I managed to haul my ass out of bed on time and get there.

Nice and quiet that time of the morning. Sophie is an amiable lass who said I'd made a good choice of trainers (and I hadn't prompted her!) :D

The weight/height /body fat index machine jobby loves me. Says I'm the right weight already and my fat index is "excellent". 6'3", 14 stone, some other figures I can't remember.

So I'm cancelling my membership and going back to being a slob as I'm obviously doing it right ;)

(Not really.)

I ache already...and now there's a full days work ahead.

At least I worked out how to use the lockers and showers properly today to minimise the Naked Exposure points..

What's Buff Building?

Do you mean you want pics of me buffing?

Pictures of you without a six pack - pictures of you with.

(ed, no photochopping that pic of Pete in his leotard with a six pack of beer)

clearly i'm joking cause i'm not keen on the chiselled look.

Just to get fitter, cardio type excersize. Dropping a jean size would be ok. Thanks for saying I'm not a fat b@stard Ed. :yahoo:

After a few months I might start on firming up my stomach a bit. I don't think I'll ever achieve "washboard abs".

Probably take up karate again making me a lean mean killing machine. :aggress:
