MaveriK
So, why on earth after a cheeky libation at lunchtime do i feel like i have been out for 3 hours of hard drinking. Is it blood/sugar levels that cause me to feel like having a kehbab and prance around a dance floor to Billy Idol or am i just going through an early midlife crisis? There is every chance i am toping up from sundays tipple but in my defence United did stuff the gunners and i needed waking up as the Snorapool Bolton match had sent me into a coma I cant see alot of work being done in the next few hours (if i make it that far and dont have to slip off site to fix a "printer"!) Charlotte
Well, judging by the amount of sense that middle bit of the post made, i wouldn't go sending out any emails to customers in a hurry. I can't drink during the day either, i'm normally needing some sleep by 4pm.
edd_t
drinking at lunch is weird. it only takes 1 or 2 and i cant do anything for the rest of the day (lightweight) i lost 2 hours of my working day one afternoon, dont know where it went ! Lucifer
I sacked someone for lunchtime drinking, he only had 2 pints, but it affected him quite badly. My rule is if you are over the DD limit then your out. Or if you are customer facing then its None at all. Hard line yes but would you mind your babysitter having 2 pints before looking after 6 month old Harry?

Pete
We used to have a couple on Fridays at a previous job. So slack. Lunch hour turned into hour and a half, then we'd fall asleep in front of our monitors. Ahhh...the good old days eh
