RedM
the standard issue Koni listing is NOT height adjustable, and the Koni damping adjustment is really meant to counter wear at high mileages. I am producing an adjustable ride height suspension kit in the fairly near future. It will be high end, (not cheap), and will be valved to match the springs I'll also supply, and be for track day, drag usage, or for thsoe who want a no compromises, ultimate fast, smooth road set up. A set up will be avaialble for each of these disciplines. Chris, This new Koni kit. Will it be taking the place of your much acclaimed Bilsteins or will you be offering both? jamesmark
That height raising mod is dangerous, you MUST make the spacer sit OVER as well as against the snap ring, otherwise there is a very real danger of it being dislodged. i take it that with your knowledge that mines is not sitting over aswell? sorry but i am thick when it comes to technical stuff, all i can say is the spacer is tight up against the strut, it was measured to be a tight fit but not that tight enough that i cant get it off again once i get a few things done on the car then i will decide whether to keep them or not, its just the speed bumps around my place are brutal not one of them are the same
Chris Wilson
Chris, This new Koni kit. Will it be taking the place of your much acclaimed Bilsteins or will you be offering both? I will offer both, whether I use Bilsteins or Konis will depend entirely on availability and price.
