Guest begone
Well I'm finally Single. Here's the specs: ~Turbo Concepts TC61 ~Tial 40mm Wastegate ~Greddy eManage Blue ~Ebay Single Kit - Heat Coated Manifold and DP ~JDM 440cc Injectors (yep you heard right) ~(Venom 680cc Injectors on the way) ~HKS Manual Boost Controller ~Ebay FMIC ~Running 15-16 psi ~SP Built Tranny w/3800 Stall (kick down cables broke so I'm manually shifting - will fix soon) This was an NA RSP that was converted to a TT -> Single. It feels great, the power is smooth and strong. I was only running 12lbs of boost yesterday and it didn't feel as strong as the JDM Turbos set at 16-18psi. So I turned up the the boost to 15-16 and it pulls very strong now. The 3800 stall helps me get into boost pretty quickly. My tranny's acting up cause the kick down cable is broke and so it's not shifting correctly and I'm having to do it manually - which sucks. The next steps are to put in the 680 injectors and fix the tranny and then tune it to 500-550 rwhp. For all you J-spec guys. I have the eManage Blue and injector harness only. The eManage is set to 0 across the board, that way the JDM ECU can do it's job. The AFR's are perfect as I have a AEM Wideband, and remains perfect up till around 18 psi. I have my boost set to 15-16 but don't ever really redline and so it is not a problem for me. I also don't have a Speed Cut Delimiter so the highway pulls are very short and I hit that 120mph wall very quickly. So to answer anyones questions - you CAN go single and stay on the 440's until you save up for fuel. But I wouldn't boost more than 15-16 and make sure you have a wideband. Hope this helps. Later. http://img222.imageshack.us/img222/3436/singlesetup0011ez.th.jpg http://img441.imageshack.us/img441/5379/singlesetup0025gd.th.jpg http://img441.imageshack.us/img441/6261/singlesetup0066ar.th.jpg http://img267.imageshack.us/img267/7976/ccwrimspolished0015tk.jpg

Guest begone
where did you get the manifold? very interesting set up. good job !! Thanks! It's the Ebay Manifold Kit from SSAutoChrome. It comes with Manifold, DP, Intake, and Dumptube. There was some modifications but I'm not sure what. The guy who worked on the car has installed a couple of these kits and knew what to do. It was then Heat Coated black. Looks just like the Greddy or HKS Manifold from what I'm told - I can't remember. The guy's name is Dave S. (Supra600) on Supraforums.com Him and his buddy Brian did all the work. They did a great job and charged me a great price! Couldn't be happier. Guest begone
not heard much about the venom injectors, any good? Dont know yet. I had them installed and one was bad and so that's why I stayed with the 440's. I'm kinda concerned about putting them in honestly, but there's not much to choose from for JDM direct replacement High Impedance/Side Feed Injectors. I may just look around some more, or take a chance and install them.

Nic
i thought you couldnt retrofit a NA with a turb ? Yes there are NA-T kits available, there are a few members on here that have these fitted. However is this particular case, this NA has had a TT engine transplant, then has been fitted with a single turbo.
Ian C
i thought you couldnt retrofit a NA with a turb ? Well, that's not an NA and yes you can anyway -Ian
Nic
Begone you've fitted your steering wheel on the wrong way around Careful with the boost until you get the fueling sorted, you must be running it very close to the injectors limit at the moment at 16psi, don't want it to go
NeoFuture
are the NA-T kits any good ?
Guest begone
are the NA-T kits any good ? From what some guys over here in the states are doing with them, I'd have to say yes. Boost Logic has a very good NA-T Kit. I was going that route until I found a good price on a J-Spec TT Motor. So I decided to do that. I actually still have a NA Tranny (it is built) w/3800 stall in it right now. And I DON"T have LSD, I'm on my Stock NA Rear End setup. I like the gearing but I get NO traction what so ever and I"m doing one wheel burnouts all day long.
